Spanish Reds
2014 Nov 4

Join us for a rare tasting of highly rated wines from northeastern Spain from highly rated vintages. The wines are primarily Garnacha (Grenache) and Carinena (Carignan) grown in an extremely rocky arid area resulting in intensely flavored wines with a streak of minerality. Only the most avid of Spanish wine drinkers would have experienced these wines before. Expand your wine knowledge of Priorat and it’s wines.

We will be tasting the following wines:

2001 Rotllan Torra Tirant (Parker 96-98) Old vine Garnacha, Old vine Carinena Syrah Merlot
2003 Alvaro Palacios Finca Dofi (Parker 92-94) Garnacha Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah Merlot Carinena
2004 Mas Romani La Besseta (Parker 96) Carinena Garnacha Syrah Merlot
