Please join us at the Ranchmen’s Club on Monday November 3rd for a tasting of 8 terrific 2004 Châteauneuf-du-Papes.  2004 is turning out to be a very good vintage and we will enjoy the following 8 well cellared red wines in a tasting:

Chateau de Beaucastel 94 pts.
Cuvee du Vatican Reserve Sixtine 92 pts.
Clos Saint Jean Deus Ex Machina 96 pts
Clos des Papes 95 pts
Domaine de la Barroche Pure 95 pts
Domaine Cristia Renaissance 95 pts
Domaine Cristia Vieilles Vignes 94 pts
Domaine de la Mordoree La Reine des Bois 93 pts.


This tasting will be followed by a delicious two course dinner:


Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup with Cilantro Infused Crème Fraîche
Supreme of Brome Lake Duck
with Blueberry and Pistachio scented Port
Wine Jus with a Medley of Autumn Vegetables
and Yam and Wild Rice Pancakes

Just a reminder please to come unadorned by perfumes, colognes and other strong aromas to any Grand Cru event. We want to focus on what is in our glass.

And please also keep in mind the business casual dress code for the Ranchmen’s Club. Jackets and ties are not required.
HOWEVER, PLEASE NO JEANS, GOLF OR POLO SHIRTS OR RUNNING SHOES.

And members, if you are inviting a guest, you are responsible to ensure that they understand the no scent rule and the dress code.
